I wouldn’t recommend this shared house to any student looking for a reliable place to live. The condition of the house was already below average — dodgy plumbing, mould in the bathroom, and a washing machine that barely worked. But the worst part by far was dealing with the letting agents. They were completely unresponsive most of the time. We reported multiple issues — from leaks to pest problems — and either got no reply or vague promises that never led to action. It often felt like we were being ignored unless rent was due. When we did manage to get a response, it was often rude or dismissive, and they rarely showed up when they said they would. It’s clear they care more about their profits than the wellbeing of their tenants.
My experience with this shared house has been disappointing, largely due to the unprofessional letting agents involved. From the start, communication was poor—emails and calls often went unanswered for days, leaving us in the dark about important issues like maintenance and rent adjustments. The house itself is decent enough for a shared setup, but that’s overshadowed by the constant hassle of dealing with agents who seem more interested in making a quick profit than ensuring a smooth living arrangement. There were several maintenance issues that weren’t promptly addressed, and when they eventually were, the work was subpar, leading to recurring problems. Overall, if you’re considering this property, be prepared to deal with a lot of administrative headaches and a lack of support from the letting agency. The stress of handling these issues significantly detracts from what could have been a comfortable living situation.
the house when we first moved in had plenty of problems, starting with front door not fixed, as soon as we walked into the house one of the kitchen chairs, had a missing leg, the TV was smashed up, the wifi was horrible, the place where the sockets were so disabled, i’ve seen better placements in minecraft, everything looked cheap as hell, like the wooden desk, the walls, felt like the house was from Temu,.
They aren’t bad, but I wouldn’t recommend them as they only think about the bottom line. Hence, the 3 stars: they are not terrible, but they need to do a lot more humane work and show empathy towards their tenants.
