All maintenance requests were acted on promptly and fixed to a good standard or parts replaced where necessary. After a break-in on the first day of the lease they were quick to replace all the locks and repair all the damage to the property. We always had plenty of advance notice for any visits, house tours, inspections etc sent directly to all tenants individually.
When we finished our contract, they tried to deduct from our deposit however we disputed the claims and were returned the deposit in full. Definitely worth taking photos of the property when you move in to deal with any deposit disputes as there was existing damage in rooms upon move in which they tried to deduct for when we moved out. Additionally, they renovated the kitchen during the first 6 weeks of our lease rendering it useless and the property with no cooking facilities for the first 6 weeks, they offered no discount in rent or concessions for this.
That being said, the property was very nice and at an affordable price.
Thornsett Properties made it very easy to view houses online and in person, and after choosing a house it was very easy to pay our deposits and reserve the house.
