It’s a lovely house, with a great location. All repairs and changes have been made rather quickly to complaint. I would say the Landlords are good at ignoring messages and phone calls every now and then so can be hard to communicate.
Signing papers and organising viewings have been really easy.
Myself and 2 friends found a house for our second year with ELR Homes. After having moved in August 2026, we were told we had a week to identify any issues, which we did. We were also told we would have a meeting to discuss the points raised, which still hasn’t happened 2 months later. We have to constantly pester the landlord to fix things, such as a leaking shower. Our fridge broke a few days ago, and we were left without a fridge for 2 days, and then were given a new fridge which was smaller than before with only 2 freezer drawers – unsuitable for 3 people. The communication from ELR is poor. We have maintenance visits, sometimes with notice given a few hours before, if we’re given any notice at all. The house is a great location with a parking spot, but it’s not enough to keep us there. We had hoped ELR would be more responsive when emailed, and when problems occur, that they would be fixed promptly and properly.
Not all my issues have be fixed however when major issues occur they are quick to fix them even on the weekend
Good company quick to repair any issues and keep us updated on things happening. Nice friendly people.
