Our house was plagued by maintenance faults. From the minute we moved in, to the minute we moved out our heating system was broken one way or another and we had mould issues, we were without hot water multiple times for days, and no matter how much we called or emailed we were ignored the majority of times and then we’d get told they’ve got a plan, only to not hear anything for weeks. The building was also plagued with mould, we tried so hard so often to clean and remove it, followed all their advice, and they tried some random fixes that were clearly cheap and didn’t work. As of moving out in July, issues we reported as early as September still weren’t fixed. The out of hours line even ignored my flatmates multiple times. Their communication is terrible. Avoid!
Average. Not the sticks but not the ritz.
good enviroment
a nice house well kept by the landlord
love our house <3
nice house and were fast to get in touch
nice house for us
takes a long time to get things resolved
This agency is good for affordable prices and for close locations for university establishments
Amazing!
Good at resolving issues however receptionist is very rude.
Lived with them for 2 years, the nicest houses on student markets i believe and great prices and location.
Decent, no complaints
Stylish modern interior. Friendly staff. Good size rooms. Not given proper equipment and no fire extinguishers
nice place to be
Good agency, provided very quick viewing and provided other properties to look at
I stayed with unity for a year. I don’t believe they ever fixed a single problem while we lived with them. We had a wall of mould we were told it was normal in every house We had a mouse living in the house mainly the kitchen but they wouldn’t come and sort it as it wasnt an essential issue. Theses are only some of the issues we faced
took too long to get things fixed
Staff there are very nice but they seem to get a lot wrong. For example, the wrong landlord on our contract, emailing about things that had already been sorted, saying they had received things we had sent over but then calling us up saying they don’t actually have what they need. Also when our heating broken multiple times they were very hard to get in contact with at some points
slay
Dont reply to email
unity needs a bit more communication and organisation.
average house but good housemaytes
It’s a nice house very good
The fair usage cap has been way too low, meaning we couldn’t afford heating all winter. Our house was 8 degrees at one point, and we got lots of mould. We’ve asked for a higher cap multiple times, they either hang the phone up on us, or ignore our emails. They never send us emails unless they’re trying to get more money out of us
Unity have caused us and my housemates nothing but stress, they don’t answer emails, come in to the property without notifying us, place very low caps on bills leaving us to freeze in -8 conditions in the winter and all round terrible support in times of need. Thankfully as a house we’ve learnt our lesson and hopefully things will massively improve without unity being our choice company next year.
Would not recommend, immature staff that will hang up the phone on you and be unnecessarily rude. Awful fair usage policy, would barely call it ‘fair-usage’. Take ages to reply to emails, wouldn’t recommend.
Bad at answering phones but mostly resolve maintenance issues promptly. However have had multiple issues with the property over the 5 months we’ve lived here.
Awful at replying/ reading our emails & limited response when they do. But maintenance is very efficient
Unity end the phone on you. Difficult to make contact with. Moan at us for not having the heating on but won’t pay it.
Hard to get hold of and slow response time. Our house is run down.
Unity have been friendly, nothing above and beyond. Don’t be afraid to properly inspect and ask questions to your house before you move in. Paper work was a lot, but the house was worth it.
it’s alright, not bad not great
Lower end of standard for the flat, aged furniture and fittings etc. Landlord would let himself into the flat once a week without prior warning or properly notifying the agency or tenants, didn’t bother him when challenged. Agency had high turnover of staff so often had repeat emails about issues post tenancy and move out procedure
Always helpful when you reach out!
