The letting agency did not respond to issues quickly, despite some of the issues being urgent. The house was mouldy when moving in and this was never sorted. The window in the bedroom was broken and this took a week after moving in to be fixed. The window in the living room also broke and this was never fixed, just closed. The downstairs room had a drain system through it which flooded and made the whole house smell and nothing was done to solve this issue. There were slugs and rats in the house and little was done to solve this issue. Complaints were regularly made about the upstairs neighbours causing issues with the drains but nothing was done to sort this. The downstairs room had the electricals for both the flat and the flat above and they would send people over in the middle of the night to sort the upstairs electricals out without telling the resident of the downstairs room which was out of order. Honestly the letting company was awful and this was a horrible place to live. It was suggested to complain about the house being unsuitable to live in to the government.
