We have been looking for a house for second year and zebra let’s has made this a very easy process. Arranging a veiwinf can be done quickly and they are very reliant on, would recommend to anyone looking for property to rent x

I found my house for second year through ZebraLets. The landlord was awful.

When we moved into the house on the first day of our tenancy, it had not been cleaned and items were left behind from the previous tenants. Throughout the year we experienced a multitude of issues with the house. We had a mould issue after a leak from the top floor bathroom which affected two of the bedrooms in the house. It took the landlord months to properly address this. Due to a faulty seal we had water leak from a shower into the kitchen through a light (which consequently broke). The landlord blamed us for this and left us without a light for over a month. The landlord would let himself into the house whenever he liked and always failed to provide adequate notice. At the end of our tenancy we left the house in a perfect condition and he still tried to take a large portion of our deposit, we ended up having to turn to the SU for advice. I would advise everybody to stay away from this agency and this particular landlord.

Zebra lets where Efficient and professional. Found the house quickly and fits all requirements I requested, very happy!

They’re a pretty good letting agency. They respond to emails and any problems very quickly and have been very helpful with the issues we have had in the past.

They respond quickly to issues and get them sorted. Never had an issue getting through to people at the office.

They aren’t the best, sometimes they communicate poorly and aren’t very organised. However if we need something urgently they can be quick to respond

Repairs do eventually get addressed, but the response times are extremely slow. Our dishwasher has been broken for over a month and our freezer also stopped working with no quick fix. We also had a bathroom leak that wasn’t repaired properly, which caused mould in my room. Although we were given a dehumidifier, the underlying issue still hasn’t been fully resolved. Overall, the delays in fixing problems have been very frustrating.

The landlord is nice and he is helpful when it comes to solving any problems we have. The only issue we have come across is not being told when maintenance people are coming to fix the house and they have let themselves into the house without our knowledge. Overall, not a massive issue and I am happy with the landlord and letting agency.

Slow response time in getting maintenance workers in – our dishwasher has been broken for a month and still not been fixed.

The letting agency isn’t actually directly involved in our housing arrangement as we have a private landlord but when we were going through the contract process they were really helpful.

8 people house – I’m not sure how much the letting agent actually does in terms of the upkeep of the house but zebra lets was really good in helping us find the house and doing all the legal paperwork. My actual Landlady is alright, like your typical landlord, can be good but needs to be repeatedly contacted to get stuff done.

High quality of houses toured, and good customer service when asking questions about admin and organising rent and tenancy. Staff (Waq helped us out) was very knowledgeable and quick to give us help.

The house flooded after the rain but they had put sandbags in place now it was a tedious task to contact them as communication was slow but the job was good.

Big rooms but lots of problems.

They were friendly and provided a viewing of a great house. When they fix the problems they do a good job but they take so much time to respond and some problems haven’t even been fixed yet.

We rented the same house from Zebra student property for 2 years whilst at university. Whilst they do hold you to high standards in terms of how you keep the property, it must be said they are very responsive and quick to sort any repairs.

rooms are big and furniture is ok, landlord always keeps us in the loop. quick to repair issues.

very good in terms of sorting any issues out, do maybe expect house to be kept at a unreasonable cleanliness level and do not like any issues with noise complaints

Been with Shabana for just shy of a year now and must say she has been very impressive. She has organised some work to be done over easter.

Landlord is always around if we need anything, think he owns other properties locally. Doesn’t really give us to much hassle just drops when he needs to. The kitchen is nice and modern with plenty of cupboard space for snacks like crisps and other food.
