It was super easy to get our rent sorted, we organised multiple viewings and they were always super helpful with answering questions. All done through the estate agent rather than the individual landlord which makes things feel a lot easier. There were a couple maintenance problems when we moved in and still waiting for them to be fixed. So not amazing on that front as we have been waiting a long time to even hear anything back. But on the whole, especially the first part of getting the tenancy was super easy.

To start with, cloud were very useful with getting us a viewing for the house and kept us up to date when new houses were on the market based on our requirements. Signing all documents was a smooth process and emails were responded to reasonably quickly. One issue when we got the keys was that there wasn’t a full set of 5, meaning the last person to move in didn’t have a key which delayed them getting into the house. Additionally, we were expected to fill in a maintenance form for any damages/ immediate repairs that needed doing, but were only given 1 week from the start of the tenancy to produce this report, and with multiple people working, it was extremely difficult to move in that first week and fill in the report. In the meantime, we have had some difficulties with certain issues, such as a faulty sink and lightbulbs not working (from the very start of the tenancy). With these maintenance issues, you can’t ring or email and they instead direct you to a maintenance application procedure where you must wait some time for a response and a contractor to be sent out. Once they did come out, the priority issue (the sink) was fixed, but nothing more got done about the lights until much later after we put in another service request.
