The house maintenance was done very well by the private landlord, who communicated quickly and thoroughly. However M&M were slow to reply and seemed uninterested in any property maintenance. We also didn’t get our deposit back in full. Money was deducted for a oil tank visit that was “a waste of resources” as we had no oil in the tank, and also deducted for a broken fire alarm – which wasn’t our fault as it was faulty technology. Money was also deducted for late rent payments from one housemate.

The house was handed over in poor condition- we had to pretty much deep clean the whole place ourselves as soon as we moved in. There were items of furniture that were not fit for use. M&M were not quick to deal with issues or just simply didn’t deal with them and was just generally unhelpful. On the whole, I believe they simply take advantage of students in order to get the most profit for their business- would not recommend it to anyone.

I live at 12 stranmillis park. We attended an open viewing for the property then went straight to the office to sign up. They usually take a week or two to address any issues. Happy in the house!
