There has been too many issues to count, the house was not as described, there has been an endless stream of issues, which always take too long to respond too. Whenever we have attempted to contact mistoria they never answer the e-Mail or phone number available. The only contact we have had with them is when they took our deposit and they never checked on us since. They repeat as they sub-let our property that they don’t have to be responsible but our safety is not an issue to them. Our landlord took too long to get our back door fixed after we were broken into (our doors have never been checked) and we were not made aware how many times this property had been broken into. Another issue we communicated was the leaking pipes, and the mould developing all over the house. Considering I have a flatmate with asthma and a flatmate who’s entire curtain has been covered in mould and no action has been taken yet, it has taken us months to get him to clean the gutters which we thought was causing the mould yet the problem still persists. The leaks as well have leaked onto our kitchen electrics when we moved in. Then instead of sending someone to check if the property was safe, no action was taken straight away to check the property except fix the shower(almost a week later) then this is why I have asked them to check this property is safe as another leak onto our electric box appeared not long after. This property is meant to be for students yet we our consistently worrying for our safety health and security and we will be happy to leave this property. It’s my firm belief that mistoria should not be allowed to rent this property until it’s refurbished, and that they shouldn’t be allowed to do buisness with our landlord if they are consistently ignoring our basic human needs as renters.
