House was well maintained with no issues around water heating. Agency were very good at communicating with us.

My experience with MHS lettings has been a smooth and easy one. In looking for the house they were quick to respond and flexible with house viewing times. I felt I was well informed about all of the properties I saw with little to no bias in their descriptions. We havent had any problems with the house over the course of the tenancy so I cant comment on their proactiveness to solve issues. Overall would recommend.

The letting agent was ok throughout the academic year, being relatively quick with most issues, apart from when we were left without a tumble dryer for over a month, which led to us having to call out someone external to fix it. However, at the end of the year they were very passive aggressive and cruel with us regarding our deposit. All our rooms and communal areas had been cleaned and the only thing remaining were issues that they claimed they would fix for us throughout the year e.g. mould in the showers. However, when it came to the deposit review they pinned these issues on us and took £1380 out of deposits in ‘cleaning fees’. We tried to dispute but once again they shot us down very quickly and were very reluctant to show evidence of where these fees had come from.

The house was reasonably maintained but when we had a slug infestation they did nothing just forwarded to the landlord. When we moved in there was black mould in the bathroom. They have taken care of a few things and they are alright but nothing special.
