2 years ago I stayed in a 5-bed flat let by Home Accommodation in the city centre. The rent was £500pppcm which has probably gone up but was surprisingly affordable at the time. The flat was in very good condition when we moved in and had been cleaned to a professional standard, all that remained of the previous tenants was various paperwork on the coffee tables – not a problem really. The facilities were in good condition, large fridge, TV, etc. Everything was great except for the fact that the balcony door was locked for vague “safety reasons” but we managed without. Rarely ever had problems with facilities, toilets, etc. shower was leaking into flat below once but was fixed within a matter of days. Maintenance team are pretty on it and there’s an emergency option for super urgent queries. Deposit came back no hassle.

Good welcome, gave us a very informative welcome pack and a bottle of prosecco with key collection. Nice and tidy house, but not the quickest at dealing with issues.

The contract was clear when we signed, house wasn’t in the best condition when we arrived but they helped to fix major issues when they arrived. However some issues were never fixed such as bad window seal and hob light.
