Happy lets Reviews I Student Letting Agents – WhichPad

I have had a few issues with my Happy Lets property manager. Every time I get her on the phone she’s lovely, but there’s often a lack of follow-through. There have also been a lot of times where my emails have not been seen when I’ve called up 5+ days later to check in. There has been trouble with communication with the landlord which is not all Happy Lets’ fault, but they haven’t been super clear what efforts are being made. This landlord miscommunication was present from the day we moved in when there were many items belonging to past tenants we had asked to be removed, and when I picked up the flat keys from Happy Lets they said the landlord should have sorted it, and he hadn’t. I think they’re a small company so they have a lot they’re trying to cover, but communication just hasn’t been the best.

My experience with Happy Let’s Ltd was mixed. The property was generally maintained to a reasonable standard but communication could have been much better. At times it was difficult to get timely responses which made dealing with issues more frustrating than necessary. However, they were very quick to get in touch with us to raise issues of their own. I feel the overall experience would have been much better with more consistent communication from the agency.

The property was maintained to a good standard. However, communication could have been better at times as responses and updates were sometimes slower than expected or haven’t been recieved. With more consistent communication, the experience would have been even better. Overall, I had a reasonable experience renting with them.

I got so much help finding a flat I was so stressed about finding one. So helpful and thanks for everything 🙂

below the liquor store. Thank god in Scotland they make you stop buying liquor at 10! Otherwise I would be an alcoholic.

The flat is lovely and close to my campus. The price is also reasonable! Me and my friends are sharing the flat, it provides me a lot of flexibility.

Letting agency has been good so far. Plumber sent out less than 12 hours after report of issues and was very helpful in resolving the issue quickly.
