Was very helpful when we had issues at the start of the flat and have been very fast with responding to any issues we have had while being there

It was maintained to a clean standard. However we had issues with the utilities and functioning of water and heating. It was dealt with efficiently.

Cairn has been helpful during the past 3 years with multiple tenancy swaps making sure the transition goes smoothly. Any repairs are sorted quickly and they are easy to reach. All previous tenants have received their full deposits back with no hassle.

The flat which we rented was really not good, there was black mold forming in the peak of summer, rubbish constantly thrown from the street into the garden. Initially cairn were very on it and responded quickly. However, it soon became us having to chase them for things like our keys to let us in the close. We didn’t stay in the flat long. Thankfully got our full deposit back but took quite a while.

The flat wasn’t cleaned to a professional standard when we moved in but most things were in good condition (few bits of broken furniture). We had a few issues throughout the year and they would reply quickly to our emails. Our hot water stopped working and they resolved that the same day and they were relatively quick at sorting out pest control. But when we had mould on our ceiling they just painted over it. They tried to take money off our deposit due to the windows being dirty and carpet needing shampooed but we disputed that because they were dirty when we moved in and they gave us our full deposit back.

Cairn are always on the end of an email. They always communicate if they need to access the flat for inspections or work. They do their best to fix anything that needs fixing fast and maintain the flat to a high standard. They are also very accommodating around our university schedules and give us plenty of notice if they need access and are able to give plumbers, electricians etc keys to access the flat in a case where we cannot be home to let them in and there is something urgent that needs looking at.

I live with 3 other girls and our flat is lovely and our landlord is amazing. However, our letting agent has no care for us. We have had many problems with cracks in the wall, faulty fire alarm and many pieces of furniture broken which haven’t been our fault at all. We’ve enquired about these issues but have had no one in to help fix them. Some of these issues can be dangerous and the lack of support we get from our letting agent is not good at all.

I had a good experience with Glasgow Cairn Letting Agent. The service was professional overall, and the team was helpful throughout the process. Communication was good, and things were handled well. There is always room for improvement, but overall, I’m happy with the service provided and would recommend them to others.

Flat was well maintained and clean when we moved in. The communication was clear. They responded to our requests quickly when things needed fixed.

Our flat was incredibly clean when we arrived. Most of our appliances worked perfectly with the exception of a couple, however these problems were sorted very quickly. Email replies are satisfactory. Fridge and freezer is a bit too cold but not a huge issue

Cairn were responsive when we had problems (leaks etc.). They were also really friendly when setting up our letting.

Overall I would say my residence has had good and bad experiences with Cairn. At the beginning of our tenancy they were efficient communicators and really supported us through a lengthy process considering there are a larger than average number of tenants. However some issues like electrical faults and roofing were slow to be dealt with and we were not satisfied with the quality of service these contractors provided.

Our flat was nice to move into. Great flat in a convenient location, clean and comfortable with everything needed for a great stay.

Our letting agent has been brilliant helping fix issues quickly after they arise, we are paying a good price for a good flat and location and the customer service for it is also brilliant.

Good at getting the flat sorted but they are bad at sorting issues, have to call them multiple times and some stuff just doesn’t get done

These people were not very attentive to us. There were so many other groups and we got no attention. The flat was kinda bad, and also it was unclean. I would not recommend

Cairns have many great properties! They are also very helpful and efficient at resolving issues within the flat. Our letting agent has great customer service which is greatly appreciated!

Our flat inventory was shocking. They claimed the flat was in great condition and ‘clean and fresh’ despite mould in the bathroom, rotten windowsills and a hole in our kitchen window. It has taken them 3 months to fix these issues. A number of non-urgent repairs still exist.

The people are so nice and inclusive. absolutely join. I love this!! You will never feel left out or like it’s a clique. They love everyone i promise!!

The flat was maintained well by the letting agent although one problem was that it could sometimes take a considerable amount of time to fix a problem that we had flagged but these problems were normally fairly minor

They have been quick to fix certain issues but I have had to follow up multiple times about a repair that was needed when we moved in.

Unprofessional, tried to buy us off with Prosecco instead of fixing the serious issues in our flat. Still are in possession of my furniture from June 2023 and will not reply to get my furniture back.
