A great renting experience. It is much easier having direct contact with our landlord, who would visit to sort issues himself, rather than having to go through estate agents. Issues which did come up were generally sorted quickly and the house was in reasonable condition.

Easy to get in contact with, with quick replies. Easy to understand contract and assistance with any confusing sections.

House is good value for size and layout but letting agency are slow to respond to maintenance requests. We have had a range of issues from black mould, leaking pipes, damp etc. which were eventually fixed but wasn’t quick. One housemate had to spend 6 weeks sleeping in the living room as a result of mould in her room.

Throughout our tenancy, my household has had a few issues with our property. These include problems with the boiler and the oven breaking. Any issues that we reported to our landlord were always responded to in a timely manner and have been resolved. Since the tenancy is still ongoing, I can’t comment on the returning of our deposits however, I would definitely recommend DEU for an affordable letting agency.
