No issues with the letting agent so far. Haven’t had any issues with the property but the communication from them is good.
Finding application process of finding our house was very smooth and easy. There was little to no complications and good communication from our estate agent.
The house was good at first, but we started getting problems with mold and basically nothing was done about it. It always took forever to get them to reply to any emails and for them to get anything fixed. They also never seemed to be in the office so it was very hard to reach them at all. Generally bad and slow communication.
The house itself was acceptable as far as student houses go, however… GK Whites charged us for a full clean despite our providing evidence that the house was in a better condition than before we moved in, and despite them ensuring us in a preliminary inspection that the house was in good condition, and that there weren’t any problems. As well as this, their staff signed the inventory on our behalf! We never even saw the document, until they presented it to us with a very clearly false signature, apparently belonging to one of our tenants. Avoid at all costs, working on getting them blacklisted by Sussex and Brighton student unions!
Good service overall at times they slacked but for the most they have been a good letting to deal with. Would recommend to others if chance came about. Good house nice location.
The house wasn’t as great as i thought it would have been, the agency hasn’t really been that useful.
The house is okay compared to those we’ve seen with other agents. A few problems such as mould, this was reluctantly repaired. A few things broken here and there but its a student house. The agent responds to emails and queries pretty quickly and have been okay when responding. Overall they have been decent agents but not sure we’d go with them again.
Did not want to put a star but you have to so one will do they have taken to much money from our deposit than they should of done. We left the house in good condition wait….we left the house in a better condition than when we arrived at the start of the tenancy. The trades people were rude when they came to fix issues in the house among other things which can’t be bothered to mention. Do what it says in the title that is all.
The kitchen roof fell down and took about 4 weeks for anything to be done. Door handles falling off doors. Steep agency fees also.
The house was good enough and we had no problems before moving in. However, once we had moved in and problems started occurring GK Whites would not respond to our problems no matter if they are by phone, in person or by email.
