Great house, really well furnished for a student home. We had problems with mould in the washing machine and one of the bathroom shower heads but otherwise it was very well maintained.
Modern house, maintained well. Good location easy to pay for and allows for us to use our on bills company. Easy to phone during the week and has 24 hours maintenance team.
The letting agency has been great, with no issues. All problems within the house have been dealt with within a reasonable time, allowing for a comfortable living environment. I received all the relevant paperwork, and each person I spoke to answered all my questions with good knowledge.
This agency never really replied to emails and a lot of the stuff in the house wasn’t in the best condition such as the waredrobes or drawers. They living area was very nice though with good sofas and tables.
Anstey organise all legal contracts explaining tenants rights and provide the expertise between the Landlord and the Tenants. Once all relevant contracts are signed all questions about the property are left to be dealt with between the landlord and tenant. Through Anstey / Beals I have had rented from two good tenants who resolved all issues I came across with the properties over the past two years. I have received full deposits back as we looked after the properties well.
The house was okay fundamentally, but many things were broken, such as wardrobes, chests of drawers, washing machines, etc. Maintenance never came despite multiple attempts to contact them. They refused to give us the landlord’s email so we could contact them directly. I was given the wrong key at the start of the year, and having tried to resolve this the entire year, I never got a replacement one, so I was unable to lock my bedroom door. We were also a nightmare trying to get our deposit back.
