When entering the house we found mould in our basement, when we requested that this be sorted we were met with no response only when we made a follow up did they answer us and tell us it was sorted. Furthermore there were some basics missing from the house that they ignored on our initial request.

The house has had a few problems but all problems the agency were prepared to fix as quickly as possible!! It is an older house and we don’t mind this. When we have a maintenance enquiry it is answered straight away and sorted so quickly! They are a great agency! The house was in good condition and we received it having been properly cleaned too.

I had a great experience letting through Avtar. House was in great condition upon arrival and they were quick to sort small issues. We had a larger issues with the fuse box but after abit of chasing up it was all sorted.

Avtar are fast and reliable especially with maintenance requests. People are usually sent to our house within the next working day and are really nice. They are also understanding and quick to reply to any emails. We’ve also been renting with them for 2 years now and they kept the same price of rent for us even thought it was meant to go up. Only minus was the woman on the end of the phone for the emergency number really rude and put me off ever ringing again but overall great landlord.

Avtar was very professional and fast to repair or replace damages, the house was well cleaned when we moved in and they were flexible when we moved out and offered to clean the house for us if we had moved our belongings out by a certain date. The office is well located in Hyde park and they are therefore easy to get a hold of. Very reliable agency.

Avtar Properties were always lovely to us throughout our tenancy. They maintained the house really well and whenever we had any issues, they were always dealt with and fixed very quickly. We had a really positive experience with them and would definitely recommend

We’ve used them this year and signed again with them next year as any issues they’re quick to fix – our fridge broke and they replaced it next day and also were happy to accommodate our requests for next years house been helpful and speedy to reply if we have had any issues.

Usually pretty good at replying to messages and requests. Wonder how strict they will be about deposits ? Fixed my radiator same week I asked.

Quick fixes most of the time. I like the people who work there they are friendly. My house has sometimes had issues though

Sometimes maybe good, sometimes maybe bad. They fix some things quick but other things are very slow.

I have rented 2 separate properties from Avtar over the course of my second and third years, coming away delighted with their service. From personable staff, to nice properties, and quick repairs/replacements, they have fulfilled their role as landlords. I would recommend them to anyone renting a student property in Leeds.

Decent overall. Rooms a bit messy and broken when moving in but fast communications and strong speed

The letting are quick at replying, with new matresses and carpets. thr kicthen was supplied with new appliances. there has been some issues but they’re quick to respond.

Really good letting agent. When I arrived the house was in really good condition with new mattresses and carpets. Provided a big TV in living room. Maintenance is responsive and fix any problems quickly.

The letting agency have been quick to deal with issues and have sent people over to fix issues within the day or the next following day. The house however, did not come with some of the essential things such as chairs in rooms, a microwave, or bins. When contacting them they did sort the chairs out straight away. The house was in a decent condition when moving in and was very clean.

When first moving into the house, the units and carpets were dirty and were eventually cleaned by the cleaners from the agency. However, the agency is quick at responding to any queries we have and ensures someone comes out as soon as possible. One improvement I’d suggest for the agency is letting us know when they are coming around, as quite a few times we’ve had maintenance walk in without any warning.
