Stunning house but seriously required repairs. Supposed to have a maintenance check during the summer but some how they missed the stentch of the room which smells of weed, broken lights which needed rewiring, the door with a gap allowing slugs and animals to enter, carpet covered in questionable stains and woren completely out showing the floor boards, shower that does not work, curtains covered in black mould and weird hand marks. Padarn are extremely fast at responding, just unfortunate how the landlord has left the house and their questionable choice in decoration.
Any problems have been sorted out, but have taken a while.
The house was left in a poor state when we moved in. The shower was left leaking for months and wasn’t fixed until everyone moved in leaving 1 shower in someone’s bedroom between 5 people. The downstairs toilet had been left blocked and unusable. This was only fixed after a couple of weeks of asking. We were charged a £400 cleaning fee when we moved out despite the entire house being clean and in a much better condition than when we moved in. All of the radiators had to be looked at within the first month of living there. Finally, I was told by the letting agent I could leave my box of belongings on the kitchen table over the summer. When I returned this had all been binned, lots of which were sentimental and irreplaceable. After lots of back and forth and being accused of lying about what the letting agent had said I was given £100 to replace my belongings. However, how the situation was dealt with by them was rather hostile and unpleasant. Overall I would not recommend Padarn to anybody and would never use their services again.
