Poor admin and customer support. Dismissive. Generally unhappy with their service so far this year . Made a point not to use them again for next year .

Genuinely the worst letting agency ever. I actually don’t think there are enough words in the English language to describe how bad they are at their job. Had to write my own addendum to my contract because the one they had written up was unacceptable. Took weeks to get approved by their lawyers despite a moving in deadline. Ended up getting approved on move in day (2 weeks late). When it finally got sent back to me it was unsignable online using the link they sent. Impossible to get through to them on the phone or via email. Spoke to at least 4 different people who had no idea what was going on. They clearly don’t speak to their colleagues or keep any sort of record of who lives in which of their properties. One month into living in the property I get several emails and phone calls saying I haven’t paid my rent ( I paid it 4 months prior). They had failed to keep a record of it so I had to send them proof from my bank account. (This is after several days of not managing to get through to them on the phone). I also get at least 2 automated emails a day about complete and utter rubbish that I don’t need to know that I can’t unsubscribe to. This review doesn’t do them justice. I actually don’t think I’ve ever hated a company more. No organisation, no communication, no records, don’t get anything done. Possibly the most inefficient people on the planet. Absolutely completely and utterly useless. Pure incompetence. Do not go anywhere near them if you want to keep your sanity.

**Disappointing experience – would not recommend**

Unfortunately, my experience with Student Cribs Exeter has been extremely disappointing. The service has been poor, communication has been frustrating, and the overall experience has fallen well below the standard I would expect from a letting agency dealing with students. It often feels as though there is little urgency or genuine care when it comes to addressing tenants’ concerns. For the amount of money students pay in rent, I would expect a far more professional and reliable service. Overall, I would think twice before renting through Student Cribs Exeter and would encourage other students to carefully consider their options before committing.

As a second-year university student, I found this house a great place to live. It is spacious, comfortable, and conveniently located near the university and local shops. The housemates’ shared spaces are ideal for socialising, and overall, it has made my university experience enjoyable.
However the price was way too steep

she was super helpful and helped us sign our second year uni home super quick and efficiently which helped make the process stress free!

Where do I begin, these guys clearly don’t know what there doing. I’ve never seen something run so poorly in my life. Honestly think my dog could do better.

My experience with Student Cribs hasn’t been particularly great. Communication and customer service could definitely be improved, and overall, I’ve found the experience more frustrating than I expected. For the price you pay, I would expect a much better standard of service and a more straightforward process when dealing with issues. There’s certainly room for improvement, and based on my experience so far, I wouldn’t be rushing to recommend them to other students.

Not a letting agent I would recommend. When we moved in we had no bins and they took about 4-5 weeks to deal with this issue. Then the blinds in my window were already broken when I moved in and it took them 2 months to fix this. There was honestly a big lack of communication on their part, everything just seemed very disorganized.

Nice flat in a good location. The landlord was responsive and the rooms were clean. Would recommend.

Not very good – I dislike their mannerisms and their innately displeasing disposition. In a horrific union to this behaviour they are unable to mobilise the competence required to relinquish the leak in my roof.

Reasonable people who deal with problems in a reasonable time. Would like them to be slightly more proactive rather than reactive.

The house was maintained badly by last year’s tenants but the landlords fixed most of it within a month.
