I stayed at Westfield in my first year after booking through Edinburgh Napier. Overall it was a good place to start uni, but there are a few things worth knowing before you sign.
The good: my flatmates were great and made the year really enjoyable. The facilities were also very good, and everything you need day to day was there and well kept.
The not so good: the location was frustrating. There wasn’t much nearby, so for a night out you had to travel, It could definitely be in a nicer area. It was also expensive for what you get, especially compared with other options like private renting once you factor in the location, however i can see it being good for international students.
Would I recommend it? If you want an easy first year with good facilities and a ready-made group of flatmates, it’s a solid choice. If budget or being close to things matters to you, it’s worth comparing it with other options first.
