Tell us about the team this season – what are your biggest goals and highlights so far?
[Elliot]: “Our Men’s 2nd Team’s goal is to earn promotion to Division One. We’re looking forward to building on last season’s progress and continuing to improve throughout the year.”
How do you balance intense training schedules with university studies and student life?
“It’s important to have a reliable routine that allows you to balance studying, training and university life. Finding the right balance between academics and sport is essential.”
What’s the best piece of advice you’d give to incoming freshers wanting to join a sports team?
“Try everything”
As student athletes, what are the most important factors when choosing where to live?
“Choosing student accommodation close to your training facilities makes travelling easier and helps you stay motivated throughout the season.”
Have you had any funny or memorable experiences with teammates while house-hunting?
“Turning up to a viewing on the wrong day.”
What are the biggest challenges student renters face?
“Making sure everything is in good condition before moving in, understanding your tenancy agreement and keeping the property well maintained throughout the year.”
If you could give one tip to other students about choosing a letting agent or landlord, what would it be?

How important is it to live close to your teammates?
“Living close to teammates makes training, travelling and socialising much easier, and it helps build stronger friendships throughout the year.”
