Student Accommodation York

We got our house through York Student Accommodation and had no issues at all. There are 4 of us who struggled to find somewhere at first, but once we had inquired with YSA we had found a variety of options. We had amazing contact with the owner of the house who managed to find us a last minute viewing slot, so then we expressed our interest asap. Replies were quick and helpful between the owner and our group, which made the situation less stressful.

I found that this agency was very competitive amongst York students. I was allowed to put a deposit on a house before viewing it, but also me and my friends who were wanting to view this accommodation before committing to had it taken from us by others who didn’t care to view it. I think it should be more about who enquires about the property first, rather than who will give you money quickest
