Do not rent woth coastal! Having lived in a damp flat for 11 months, with only one heater that was useless as it was in the hallway, black mould in the kitchen and a bathroom ceiling that was falling in I was already pretty upset with coastal reactions to all of this which was to blame me! The last few months of my tenancy were horrendous as we had no hot water for 5 weeks. It is part of your contract with them that they conduct viewings Monday through to Saturday, what they don’t make clear is that that means EVERY day Monday through Saturday for weeks. I reminded them every day when they cam around that we still had no hot water and yet when we went into their offices to complain they said that it was our fault that they never got this message. There is also an issue with who to complain to when the management company let you down as the same company that owns all of their properties also own the lettings/management agency themselves so there is nowhere to turn to if things go awry. Do not rent with coastal they are a nightmare.
